Great Pyrenees / Saint Bernard / Mixed (long coat) Dog

Cocoa the Dog needs a home

Meet Cocoa!

Cocoa is a neutered 2 y/o male, a mix of Great Pyrenees, St. Bernard, & Husky. GPRM rescued him from shelter life where he had been turned in by his previous owner for escaping and chasing deer too often. He is headed to Montana, to start a new life!

Cocoa develops attachments easily to his people and would do best as a family companion pet. He likes structure and does well with new training and plenty of activity. He can be a bit of an escape artist and will require a 6 ft.+ fence. He does well with other dogs (as long as they don't show aggression towards him). Big dogs only, as he is rough in his play. He hasn't spent much time around cats, but didn't show any aggression towards the ones in the shelter. Cocoa is currently around 60 lbs. but is quite skinny and could use a good diet with some healthy weight gain.

He'd do best in a family that will spend lots of time with him, keep him busy, and include him in family activities. He doesn't like being alone and tends to get nervous.
